A HubSpot CMS website for a national trade show.

The challenge
The website and Cvent had overlapping content. Visitors had to search across both platforms for tickets, classes, educators, and show details, and Cvent content wasn't indexed well in Google.
The HubSpot site looked dated, with fonts, graphics, spacing, and temporary banners that didn't match the brand. The team also duplicated work across the website, Cvent, the app, and a separate program guide.
Updates were hardest during the busy January–February season, and the team wanted to make changes without paying a developer.
Our strategy & approach
We started with discovery and sitemap planning, reviewing the existing HubSpot site, Cvent, Sadesco, the program guide, and the brand. From there we built a clearer page hierarchy and chose the key pages for the redesign.
The design followed the new "Thrive" style guide and its "Transformative Teal" color, with a deeper, show-focused homepage and HubSpot pages that line up with Cvent.
The build included a customized HubSpot CMS theme, custom modules, HubDB-powered educator, speaker, and class pages, Cvent workflows, SEO, a membership-gated portal, an AI customer agent, and CMS training so the team can run the site themselves.
Page by page.

From a dated site split across HubSpot and Cvent to one connected, on-brand HubSpot CMS build.
